We are a casual raiding guild that was founded by Garimon and Gnan prior to the release of the Burning Crusade expansion. They built the foundation for a strong and friendly guild that strives to be a home for people that are not looking for hardcore raiding but still want to experience endgame content.
We offer a friendly and social atmosphere with our own Ventrilo channel and abundant guild chat. We strive to be family friendly, but note that we are a guild run by and for adults. We are extremely tolerant of different lifestyles and views and require members of Shadowblades to show respect to others at all time. We have a good working relationship with various other guilds, and have chat channels available that have been established specifically to communicate with these guilds.
After Wrath of the Lich King was released, Rashee took over leadership of the Shadowblades, and continues building upon the work that Garimon and Gnan started. We currently focus on 10-man end-game raid content in a semi-casual atmosphere. The overall mission statement of our guild is to see all of its members having fun.
We are always looking for new members that fit in, and are looking to have a fun time in the game. If you want to give us a try and see if we make a good fit for each other, send a message to any of our officers and they will gladly help out. Rashee, Aurilia, Fracturehorn, and Valartha are always willing to answer any questions you have about the guild or our members.
After clearing all the available normal-mode raid content in Wrath of the Lich King, Shadowblades continue to push forward and have begun tackling the raids Cataclysm has to offer!

Staghelm has been sent to the real pits of fire by the Shadowblades! It has been 2 weeks since our first night of attempts at Staghelm and well this night was a triumphant one. In celebration of our last minute victory, a few of us sacrificed ourselves to take a peek at the flaming inferno, Ragnaros. Congratulations and next week let us bring the Firelord to his knees!
With complicated healer and dps mechanics, the Shadowblades slaughtered Baleroc on their second attempt. Although we were hoping for some baneful music to set the mood, it did not slow us down! Cheers to the amazing victory! Now for Majordomo Staghelm!
